Welsche's Cradle

Mount Bay Homes has opened a model of the Chatterly, one of three houses the company is building at Welsche's Cradle in the historic district of Glyndon in Baltimore County. A total of 34 homes will be built on one-eighth-acre lots.

For a starting price of $182,000, the Chatterly has 1,890 square feet of living space. A one-car garage, foyer, 14-by-11-foot living room, 11-by-11-foot dining room, guest closet and a powder room make up the front of the house.

At the rear there are a 9-by-12-foot kitchen, 8-by-12-foot breakfast room and two-story, 15-by-15-foot family room.

A walk-in closet, 14-by-15-foot bedroom and a full bath are part of the second-floor master suite. Two other bedrooms, a linen closet and a full hall bath are also on this level.

The largest home offered is the Chesapeake, with 2,190 square feet and a base price of $192,000.

On the first floor there are a two-car garage, foyer, 11-by-12-foot living room, 11-by-11-foot dining room, 11-by-10-foot kitchen, 10-by-12-foot breakfast room, 16-by-12-foot two-level family room, linen closet and laundry and powder rooms.

The Saratoga Park, a 2,485-square-foot home with a base price of $279,900, is the Jenkins model at Pine Meadows.

This open floor plan has a two-story foyer with dual coat closets. At the left is an 11-by-13-foot dining room. On the right an 11-by-13-foot living room, 11-by-10-foot library and 15-by-19-foot family room with fireplace.
