(TC A Forest Hill woman was killed yesterday when her car spun out of control in Glen Burnie, hit an embankment and a large tree then overturned, county police said.

Mary Kathleen Lackl, 33, of the 1300 block of W. Jarrettsville Road received massive head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lackl was northbound on Marley Neck Road in a 1993 Nissan Sentra shortly after 3 a.m. when she lost control of the car near the intersection of Woodhaven Court. Lackl tried to regain control of the car, but she oversteered and the car began spinning as it slid off the right shoulder, struck an embankment, a utility pole and a large tree, police said.

The car turned onto the driver's side and partially ejected Lackl, who was not wearing a seat belt.

Police believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the accident.
