Ellicott City: 9200 block of Frederick Road: Someone cut a window screen at a house Monday or Tuesday, but police said nothing was taken or disturbed.

Ellicott City: 8400 block of Church Lane Road: Silverware was stolen from a house sometime Tuesday after someone pried open a greenhouse door and unlocked the interior door.

Elkridge: 6600 U.S. 1: Clothes, a vase and compact discs were stolen from a house Tuesday. Two white females were seen leaving the area.

Ellicott City: 8800 block of U.S. 40: The front door to Regency Dry Cleaning was broken with a brick Tuesday or Wednesday and cash and checks were stolen.

Ellicott City: 3900 block of Old Columbia Pike: Someone tried to enter a house Tuesday by prying open a sliding door, but police said no entry was made.
