The manager of a Pizza Hut restaurant in Ellicott City was robbed while he was closing the business early Sunday morning, Howard County police said.

Steven Carson, 31, of Ellicott City was not injured during the robbery in the 3700 block of St. Johns Lane, police said.

The robbery occurred at 2: 19 a.m. Sunday, when Carson was locking the front door of the restaurant and heard someone yell, "Give us the money." When he turned around, he saw a male in a ski mask pointing a gun at him, police said.

Carson told the gunman he did not have the night's deposit. Then another masked male took Carson's wallet and keys.

The two robbers then fled, police said.

The robbers were described as slim white males, 17 to 18, wearing dark-colored ski masks and jeans.

One was 5 feet 10, and the other about 5 feet 5, police said.
