Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Northeastern District

Officer injured/arrest: Officer Stanley Lynch, a two-year member of the police force, was injured yesterday while trying to arrest a man who allegedly was harassing a street vendor in the 3300 block of Hillen Road. During a struggle, the man struck the officer and tried to grab his service weapon. The man was subdued by Lynch and another officer. Lynch was treated for an injured right hand at Union Memorial Hospital and released. Aloha L. Peters, 36, of the 1600 block of N. Chapel St. was charged with attempted larceny of the officer's handgun, assault and resisting arrest.

Robbery: A women was walking in the 3400 block of Belair Road on Sunday when a man robbed her of her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $100.

Rape: Police were seeking a 19-year-old man who raped a 15-year-old girl in a house in the 3400 block of Chesterfield Ave. on Sunday. The victim was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

Robbery/arrests: Police arrested a couple who robbed a boy of his bike in the 3500 block of Harford Road on Sunday.

Robbery: A boy was riding his 20-inch bike in the 3500 block of Dudley Ave. on Sunday when he was assaulted by several older youths who stole the bike.

Central District

Robbery: A man was in the 200 block of N. Greene St. on Sunday when he was assaulted by two men who robbed him of his gold jewelry.

Western District

Burglary: Household items, clothing and appliances, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 600 block of N. Gilmor St.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1600 block of Bruce St. through a rear door Sunday and stole a 19-inch television valued at nearly $300.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A maroon 1990 Nissan with no tags was stolen Sunday in the 1800 block of S. Caton Ave.

Stolen car: A 1988 Oldsmobile with tags CTX 017 was stolen Sunday in the 300 block of Nottingham Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A man was inside the Texaco station in the 7500 block of Pulaski Highway on Sunday when a man grabbed a $10 bill from his grasp and fled.

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money was stolen from the Boulevard Cuts hair salon in the 7800 block of Rossville Blvd. between Saturday and Sunday.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A 19-inch, 12-speed bike was stolen Sunday from a garage in the first block of Dunkirk Road.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Cash and checks, all valued at nearly $80, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 3600 block of Forest Grove Ave.

Stolen car: A red 1991 Dodge Spirit with tags DGJ 807 was stolen Sunday in the 6900 block of Marsue Drive.

Stolen vehicle: A 1991 Honda Accord with tags DBN 837 was stolen Sunday in the 9600 block of Orpin Road.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Two videocassette recorders and a cordless telephone were stolen Sunday from a house in the 2700 block of Daisy Ave. in Baltimore Highlands.

Burglary: A TV valued at $400 was stolen Sunday from a room at the Days Inn in the 5800 block Baltimore-National Pike.

Woodlawn Precinct

Stolen car: A silver-colored 1988 Mitsubishi with no tags was stolen Sunday in the 3300 block of Washington Ave.
