Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Robbery: A 26-year-old man from Arbutus was in the 1100 block of W. Lombard St. on Wednesday when a gunman took his wallet and cash, all valued at $50.

Southeastern District

Theft: A videocassette recorder and a camcorder, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 100 block of N. Bradford St.

Central District

Robbery: A resident of the 600 block of N. Eutaw St. was near his home Wednesday when two men, one with a knife, robbed him of his keys and an automated teller machine card.

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Sun & Moon grocery in the 500 block of Presstman St. of more than $200 and several packs of cigarettes Wednesday.

Burglary: More than $100 was stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from a secured area of the Subway carryout in Light Street Pavilion at Harborplace.

Burglary: Two computers valued at nearly $5,000 were stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from George Street Elementary School in the 600 block of Brune St.

Northeastern District

Stolen car: A gray 1990 Buick with tags FAO 525 was stolen Wednesday in the 5700 block of Denwood Ave.

Western District

Theft/arrest: A 28-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday when she tried to leave the McCrory's store in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. without paying for $15 worth of razor blades.

Robbery: A man with a tire iron assaulted an employee of a company at the Northwest Business Center in the 2500 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway on Wednesday. The assailant then stole a telephone, a fax machine and $20. The 43-year-old victim was treated for cuts at the scene.

Burglary: Two men entered a city-owned house in the 1000 block of N. Stricker St. on Wednesday that is being renovated and stole more than $1,000 worth of building materials.

Vandalism: Several windows and a realty sign were destroyed at a house in the 1700 block of W. North Ave., causing $400 damage.

Burglary/arrest: A 27-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday on the fire escape of a house in the 700 block of N. Fulton Ave. while attempting to flee after stealing clothing valued at $100.

Northern District

Robbery: A woman was in the 3000 block of Greenmount Ave. on Wednesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and jewelry, all valued at nearly $60.

Theft: Police were seeking a known suspect who entered a house in the 2000 block of Rockrose Ave. on Wednesday and stole jewelry valued at more than $1,700.

Robbery: A man was in the 2500 block of St. Paul St. on Wednesday when he was robbed of more than $100 by a man who struck him with a length of wood.

Burglary: A radio and cash, all valued at more than $100, were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 1300 block of Eutaw Place.

Southwestern District

Theft from truck: Three boxes of frozen chicken were stolen Wednesday from a Holly Poultry truck that was parked near the company, in the first block of S. Warwick Ave.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A man who implied he had a handgun robbed the High's dairy store in the 8200 block of Philadelphia Road of more than $100 Wednesday afternoon.

North Point Precinct

Shoplifting/arrest: A Sears security officer chased a shoplifting suspect across the parking lot at Eastpoint Mall on Wednesday, caught him and held him for police who arrested the suspect in the theft of clothing valued at nearly $100 from the store. The suspect, a 29-year-old resident of the 4800 block of Lorelly Ave. in Baltimore, was being held at the county Detention Center in Towson in lieu of $2,500 bond.

Robbery: A man who gave a clerk a note demanding money robbed the High's dairy store in the first block of Shipping Place in Dundalk of more than $100 Wednesday.

Shoplifting/arrests: Police arrested a couple Wednesday who stole clothing valued at more than $200 from Sears and J.C. Penney, both in Eastpoint Mall.

Theft: Jewelry valued at more than $600 was taken from a kitchen shelf Wednesday in a house in the 1900 block of Inverton Road. The victim told police several people were in her house at the time of the theft.

Vandalism: Someone used a BB pistol to shoot out a window of a 1989 Honda Accord parked in the 7900 block of Shore Road on Wednesday. Damage was set at $200.
