Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Central District

Burglary: A radio and cash, all valued at more than $100, were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 1300 block of Eutaw Place.

Rape: Police were seeking a man who raped a 17-year-old girl Tuesday night in an alley behind the 200 block of E. Read St. The victim was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player and other property, all valued at nearly $200, were stolen Tuesday from a 1990 Subaru station wagon parked in the 700 block of Covington St.

Northern District

Burglary: A television, videocassette recorder and an electronic game, all valued at more than $700, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3200 block of Ellerslie Ave.

Burglary: A mountain bike valued at nearly $300 was stolen Tuesday from a garage in the 5400 block of Purlington Way.

Theft from vehicle: At least 60 cassette tapes valued at $800 were stolen Tuesday from a 1980 Toyota parked in the 3000 block of Abell Ave.

Theft: A Bell Atlantic outdoor pay telephone valued at nearly $700 was stolen Tuesday from its post in the 400 block of E. 33rd St.

Assault: An 18-year-old man was in the 4700 block of Alhambra Ave. on Tuesday when a man who struck him with a broken bottle. The victim was treated for lacerations at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Western District

Drug arrest: A 25-year-old woman who lives in the 100 block of Poppleton St. was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of two small plastic bags of suspected marijuana.

Drug arrests: Two men, one from the 2000 block of Hollins St. and the other from the 1800 block of N. Smallwood St., were arrested Tuesday in the 1900 block of Edmondson Ave. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A white 4-door 1984 Ford with tags CNG 518 was stolen Tuesday in the 3200 block of Leeds Ave.

Stolen car: A red 1987 Mazda RX-7 with tags ZZM 1079 was stolen Tuesday in the 2200 block of Wheatley Drive.

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a woman who stole $25 from another woman in the 2600 block of St. Benedict St. on Tuesday.

Northwestern District

Burglary: Someone used a rock to break a window of the Rite Aid pharmacy in the 6400 block of Reisterstown Road on Tuesday, entered and stole a portable television.

White Marsh Precinct

Rape: A 17-year-old southeast Baltimore girl told police a man raped her in a room at the Siesta Motel in the 8200 block of Pulaski Highway early Tuesday.

Theft from vehicle: A camcorder valued at $800 was stolen Tuesday from a car parked on the lot at Golden Ring Mall in the 6400 block of Rossville Blvd.

Burglary: A compact disc player and a Caller ID, all valued at nearly $230, were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the first block of King Richard Circle.

North Point Precinct

Shoplifting: A porcelain doll valued at $75 was stolen Tuesday from Tidewater Treasures in the 4400 block of North Point Road.

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone valued at $100 was stolen Tuesday from a truck parked in the 700 block of Merritt Blvd.

Theft: A wallet containing $100 was stolen Tuesday from a woman's purse in a restroom at Eastpoint Mall in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd.

Theft: Lawn-care equipment valued at nearly $400 was stolen Tuesday from the backyard of a house in the 200 block of Sollers Point Road.

Theft: A 26-inch bicycle valued at $100 was stolen Tuesday from the front porch of a house in the 7700 block of Fairgreen Road.

Burglary: A 12-gauge shotgun was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 9300 block of Todd Ave.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A 10-speed bicycle valued at more than $200 was stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 7600 block of Hillendale Road.

Burglary: A window air conditioner, jewelry and cash, all valued at $700, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1600 block of Cottage Lane.

Sexual assault: Charges were pending against a 27-year-old inmate at the county Detention Center in the 400 block of Kenilworth Drive who allegedly sexually assaulted another male inmate in a cell on June 9 while pressing a ballpoint pen to the victim's neck.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Property valued at more than $800 was stolen Tuesday from a construction company's trailer parked in the 11200 block of Reisterstown Road.

Burglary/vandalism: Several ultraviolet lamps at Prime Time Tan in the 9600 block of Reisterstown Road were destroyed over the weekend. A key was used to gain entry to the business.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary/vandalism: Two glass doors, several walls and windows were destroyed and ceiling tiles broken Tuesday in a house under construction in the 2200 block of Rolling Run Road. Damage was estimated at $6,000.
