Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Robbery: A man was in the 400 block of W. Patapsco Ave. on Saturday when an unarmed man robbed him of cash and property, all valued at more than $200.

Theft: A purse containing cash and property, all valued at $60, was stolen Saturday from a car parked in the 2700 block of Hawkins Point Road.

Assault/arrest: A man was near his home in the 300 block of S. Stricker St. on Saturday when another man struck him with a metal pipe. The victim was treated at Harbor Hospital Center. A suspect was arrested.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular car phone valued at more than $200 was stolen Saturday from a 1993 Toyota truck parked in the first block of South St.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2300 block of Belair Road through a basement door Saturday and stole a videocassette recorder valued at nearly $200.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A resident of the 3900 block of Wabash Ave. was sitting on the front steps of his home Saturday night when a man rTC pointed a gun at his chest and took his cellular phone and compact disc player.

Robbery: A man was waiting for a bus in the 5300 block of Park Heights Ave. on Saturday night when three men, one with a handgun, took his watch, wallet, cash and a money order, all valued at nearly $200.

Northern District

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 100 block of W. 39th St. from the balcony Saturday and stole cash, four gold necklaces and a high school ring, all valued at more than $300.

Theft from auto: Someone entered a 1978 Mercedes-Benz parked in the 2500 block of St. Paul St. on Saturday and stole a pager valued at $80.

Theft: Someone entered a house in the 700 block of W. 40th St. on Saturday and stole a calendar book containing nearly $600 that the occupant had placed there.

Stolen car: A 1992 Dodge with no tags was stolen Saturday in the first block of Clydesdale Ave.

Theft: Thirty bushes and shrubs, all valued at $500, were stolen Saturday from outside a house in the 500 block of E. 29th St.

Western District

Stolen car: A white Chevrolet van with tags 642703 was stolen Saturday in the 600 block of Franklintown Road.

Burglary: Alcoholic beverages valued at more than $1,400, bills and coins from video and vending machines were stolen Friday from the Royal Gents Club in the 1600 block of Laurens St. The burglary was reported Saturday.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A 1992 Acura Legend with tags CDX 107 was stolen Saturday in the 3300 block of W. Caton Ave.

Stolen car: A blue 1994 Dodge with state tags SG01540 was stolen Saturday in the 3100 block of Wilkens Ave.

Stolen car: A 1985 Ford truck with tags 76A562 was stolen Saturday from the Interstate 70 park and ride lot near Security Boulevard.

Robbery: A man was in the 700 block of Linnard St. on Saturday when a gunman robbed him of more than $200.

Robbery: A 28-year-old Baltimore County woman was about to purchase a T-shirt from a vendor in the 2900 block of Winchester St. on Saturday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $30.

Essex Precinct

Theft: Lap-top computers valued at $7,000 were stolen Friday or Saturday from an office at the Maryland Air National Guard unit in the 2700 block of Eastern Blvd.

Garrison Precinct

Stolen car: A silver-colored 1986 Volvo with tags YSZ 875 was stolen yesterday in the 3900 block of Sadie Road in Randallstown.

Towson Precinct

Stolen car: A 1984 Buick Skylark with tags DCT 033 parked in the first block of Solar Circle was stolen yesterday.
