Westminster: Firefighters responded at 7: 11 a.m. Wednesday to burning electrical wires in the 100 block of E. George St. Units were out five minutes.

Reese: Firefighters responded at 1: 04 p.m. Wednesday to an auto fire on Route 140 at Kays Mill Road. Units were out 30 minutes.

Pleasant Valley: Firefighters from Littlestown, Pa., assisted Pleasant Valley at 3: 28 p.m. Wednesday, responding to a fire alarm in the 3700 block of Littlestown Pike. Units were out two minutes.

Reese: Firefighters from Hampstead assisted Reese at 9: 18 p.m. Wednesday, responding to a water heater fire on Wesley Road. Units were out 30 minutes.

Reese: Firefighters responded at 9: 52 p.m. Wednesday to a brush fire on Schoolhouse Road. Units were out 30 minutes.

Police

Westminster: A Sykesville resident told police that property was stolen from her vehicle in the Greens development Sunday. The loss was estimated at $40.

Westminster: A resident of Pleasanton Road told police that property was stolen Wednesday from her vehicle at Cranberry Mall. The loss was estimated at $230.

Westminster: A New Windsor man told police that a window was broken and property stolen from his vehicle while it was parked Wednesday at Cranberry Mall.

Westminster: Employees of a restaurant at Railroad Avenue and West Main Street told police the window of a nearby telephone booth was broken about 6: 30 p.m. Wednesday. Damage was estimated at $30.
