A man attacked an Annapolis woman in the parking lot of an Edgewater grocery store Monday, pushed her to the ground and stole her purse, county police said yesterday.
Patricia C. Krasovich, of the first block of Alder Road, a clerk at the Giant in the 2900 block of Solomons Island Road, was leaving the store about 10: 30 p.m. when she was attacked, police said.
The man pulled the purse with such force that the strap broke, police said.
