3 names considered for new school

The Howard County school system's naming committee has come up with a list of three prospective names for the new elementary school planned for Ellicott City.

The names being considered are Alberton Mill Elementary, Daniels Mill Elementary and Hollo-field Park Elementary.

The school -- which will be built off Rogers Avenue -- is scheduled to open in September 1997.

To comment on the names, send letters to Barbara Bogart, Howard County Public School System, 10910 Route 108, Ellicott City 21042, or call 313-6608 by June 14.
