Baysox edge Harrisburg in ninth, 3-2

HAGERSTOWN — BOWIE -- Kris Gresham singled off the glove of third baseman Israel Alcantara to drive in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Bowie Baysox defeated the Harrisburg Senators, 3-2, last night in a Double-A Eastern League game.

Tommy Davis had three of the Baysox' eight hits, and Willis Otanez added two. Carlos Chaves (3-2) earned the win in relief.

Suns 13, Alley Cats 7

HAGERSTOWN -- Ruben Corral pitched 5 2/3 innings of hitless relief and Hagerstown came back from a three-run deficit to beat Charleston in a Single-A South Atlantic League game. Craig Wilson went 3-for-5 to lead Hagerstown.
