A man wielding a knife robbed a Pasadena fast-food restaurant of an undetermined amount of money Tuesday, county police said.
A clerk at the Subway store in the 4100 block of Mountain Road told police a man entered the store about 4: 45 p.m. and asked for a cup of water.
When the cashier returned with the water, the man pulled out a knife and said, "One more thing -- give me all the money in the cash register," police said.
The cashier gave the man the money, and he fled, police said.
Police arrest man on shoplifting charges
County police arrested a 41-year-old man Tuesday on charges of trying to walk out of a Pasadena hardware store without paying for a screwdriver set.
Barry Lee Walker of no fixed address was charged with theft less than $300.
An employee at the 84 Lumber store in the 7900 block of Fort Smallwood Road told police that he saw a man carry a Dewatt power screwdriver kit out the door without paying at about 9 a.m. Tuesday. Two employees stopped the man and held him for police.

Pasadena: Someone stole two vases valued at $150 each from the front porch of a house in the 900 block of Fawn Ave. between 6 p.m. and 9: 30 p.m. Tuesday.
Venice on the Bay: Someone broke into a toolshed in the 1900 block of Arundel Road between 5 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Tuesday and stole tools and bicycles valued at more than $450.
