Hampstead man charged in thefts

An 18-year-old Hampstead man was arrested Saturday and '' charged in several thefts April 23 and 24 in the Roberts Field development, town police said.

Bryan Keith Steimetz of the 4200 block of Crystal Court was charged with five counts of theft and one count of continuing to steal as a course of action. He was freed on a $3,000 property bond yesterday.

All of the stolen property, including a patio table, plastic trash cans, a free-standing basketball hoop and a barbecue grill, was recovered, police said.

Four plastic patio chairs that were recovered have not been reported missing, police said.

Fire

Hampstead: Firefighters from Arcadia assisted Hampstead at 58 p.m. Friday, responding for an automatic fire alarm in the 500 block of Hanover Pike.

Hampstead: Firefighters from Arcadia assisted Hampstead at 7: 19 a.m. Saturday, responding for a fire alarm on Hanover Pike.

Hampstead: Firefighters transferred an engine to Reese at 5: 16 p.m. Sunday.

Pleasant Valley: Firefighters transferred an engine to Westminster at 5: 16 p.m. Sunday.

Manchester: Firefighters transferred an engine to Hampstead at 5: 42 p.m. Sunday.
