Police identify body of missing county man

The body of a man found floating in the Gwynns Falls has been identified as a 27-year-old Ellicott City resident, who was reported missing in February.

Courtney A. Williams, of the 3000 block of Oak Green Circle, was found April 7 with multiple gunshot wounds, lying face up in a stream in the 4500 block of Wetheredsville Road, a Baltimore City police spokesman said.

Mr. Williams and his girlfriend, Tomeka Jefferson of Randallstown, were reported missing in mid-February.

On April 9, Baltimore City police identified the body found in the Gwynns Falls as that of Mr. Williams. Ms. Jefferson was still missing as of yesterday, police said.
