Top real estate executives to meet in Baltimore this week

Top executives of some of the largest real estate firms in the nation will be coming to Baltimore this week for a semiannual brainstorming and idea-sharing session.

O'Conor, Piper & Flynn, the Baltimore region's largest real estate firm, will be the host of the gathering of the organization, known as the "Masterminds." Ramsey W. J. Flynn, one of the principals of OPF, will assume the chairmanship of the group at this meeting.

Mr. Flynn has been a partner of OPF and its predecessor companies for more than 35 years. He has been president/operations since 1984. The Masterminds organization was founded 26 years ago by the principals of some of the largest independent residential brokerage firms. The group has met twice a year since 1970 to focus on industry trends, analyze market data and review each member's operations. The member firms employ more than 31,750 sales agents and closed more than $54.8 billion in home sales last year.

At each meeting, members of the group tour the host company and critique its operations.
