Phillies: IF Mike Benjamin was activated from the DL and IF Kevin Sefcik was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Benjamin had arthroscopic surgery on his right wrist March 13.

Pirates: 2B Carlos Garcia missed his ninth consecutive game with a strained right hamstring. He might be ready tomorrow.

Reds: 2B Bret Boone was out of the lineup for a second consecutive game with a sprained left ankle.
