Students accused of possessing drug paraphernalia

April 19, 1996

Two North Carroll Middle School students were arrested on drug paraphernalia charges Wednesday after school officials reported finding items in their possession during class hours, school and state police authorities said yesterday.

Richard DeLong, principal at the middle school in Greenmount between Hampstead and Manchester, did not identify the students. He said they were suspended in accordance with the county's Board of Education policy and must attend counseling before they can be reinstated.
