Light, No. 2 Arundel topple No. 1 Old Mill

Returning All-Metro right-hander Kurt Light (3-1) fired a three-hitter with four strikeouts and two walks as No. 2 Arundel dealt top-ranked Old Mill (9-1) its first loss of the season yesterday, 8-0.

Steve Brunner (three RBIs) and Steve Sylvester (two RBIs) had three hits each for the Wildcats (10-2).

Arundel avenged a 3-2 loss at Old Mill on March 25 with a six-run second inning and an 11-hit attack.

Light (3-1) did not give up a hit until the fifth inning
