Earth Day Concert

Sue Trainor and Sue Ribaudo will blend harmonies on songs with varied rhythms during a family concert celebrating Earth Day from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at St. Marks on the Hill, 1620 Reisterstown Road in Pikesville. The singers will present a program that encourages audience participation from young and old. Both performers were nominated for WAMMIES as overall "Best New Artist" and "Best Duo/Group" last year by the Washington Area Music Association.

Sponsored by the Baltimore Folk Music Society, the afternoon festivities also will include planting a tree on the church grounds and an ice cream social.

Admission is $9 for adults and $5 for children with discounts for families and BFMS members. Call (410) 366-0808. Do you know the names of your daffodils? Bring your blooms at 2 p.m. today to the American Daffodil Society Show at the Sheraton in Towson and have experts help you identify your flowers. After learning about your daffodils there will be plenty of time to admire more than 3,000 daffodils displayed from all over the Northern Hemisphere, including England and Ireland. The three-day show is part of the American Daffodil Society's 41st Annual Convention and a variety of public events are planned, including artistic and horticulture displays by amateur and professional exhibitors and growers and hybridizers of daffodils.

Activities will take place today
