4 arrested on drug charges

County police arrested three Glen Burnie men and a Linthicum woman on drug charges Sunday.

Kelly Robert Takovick, 30, of the 1600 block of Bedford Road; Mark Allen Gopshes, 21, of the 1100 block of Castle Harbor Way; Anthony Charles Brownlee, 21, of the 300 block of Milton Ave.; and Cori Michelle Bush, 20, of the 300 block of Double Eagle Drive, were charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Mr. Takovick also was charged with possession of crack cocaine, theft of automobile license tags and possession of a deadly weapon. Mr. Gopshes also was served with a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Officers stopped a brown Dodge at Route 648 and Amberly Road about 12: 30 a.m. after it ran a stop sign, police said.

When officers checked the car's tags, they found that they were stolen, police said. A .22-caliber handgun and 4 pounds of suspected marijuana were found in the car, and 2.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine was found on Mr. Takovick, according to authorities.

A total of $1,015 was seized from the four men, police said.
