Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Southwestern District

Child abandoned/arrest: The father of a 16-month-old boy was arrested yesterday and charged with child abandonment, reckless endangerment and child neglect. Police said Donald Larry Robinson, 46, of the 2800 block of Ellicott Drive was driving alone Sunday when he was arrested on an outstanding traffic charge and taken into custody. Police said he failed to tell them his son was unattended at home. Yesterday, police were flagged down by a woman near the man's home who told them the boy was home alone. Police took the boy to University of Maryland Medical Center, where he was examined and was in good condition. He was turned over to the city's child protection service. Police said the child had been alone for at least 20 hours. It was not immediately known if Mr. Robinson was in custody or released on bond.

Northern District

Stolen car: A 1985 Honda Accord with tags DCN 934 was stolen Sunday in the 2500 block of St. Paul St.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A resident of the 400 block of Colleen Road was walking near his home Sunday night when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $7.

Robbery: A deliveryman for Papa John's pizza in the 600 block of Edmondson Ave. was about to make a delivery in the 4800 block of Lewiston Road on Sunday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of nearly $50 and two pizzas.

Northwestern District

Assault: A 17-year-old Randallstown resident was leaving a party at a house in the 3300 block of Piedmont Ave. on Sunday when he was assaulted by two men, one with a handgun, who struck him with their fists. The victim was not seriously injured.

Northeastern District

Shooting: A 35-year-old man got out of a taxi in the 5400 block of Sinclair Lane Sunday night when he was stopped by two men, one with a handgun. After words were exchanged between the three men, the gunman shot the victim in the right buttock. He was in satisfactory condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Robbery: A man was in the 5600 block of Perdue Ave. on Sunday when he was assaulted by several men who robbed him of two sets of keys. One of the assailants threatened the victim with a knife.

Theft: While a woman was sleeping at home in the 2700 block of The Alameda Sunday evening, someone among several visitors entered a bedroom and stole more than $300 in jewelry from a jewelry box.

Robbery: An 11-year-old boy was riding his red and black 24-inch mountain bike in the 900 block of North Hill Road on Sunday when a teen-age male robbed him of the bike, valued at nearly $140. The robber implied he was armed with a handgun.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Joppa Road Amoco station in the 1600 block of E. Joppa Road on Sunday of cash and cigarettes, all valued at more than $100. After asking for a quart of oil, the man pulled a gun and ordered the attendant to give him money and one pack of cigarettes.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered the Olympia Pizzeria in the 1700 block of York Road through a rear door Sunday and stole an undisclosed sum of money.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: Three men, including one who implied he was armed with a handgun, robbed Shoe Discounters in the 3700 block of Old Court Road of more than $100 Sunday and escaped in a

blue car.
