Fourth suspect arrested in Bel Air in John Watters Meeting House fire

BEL AIR -- A fourth suspect in the March 21 fire that destroyed the 152-year-old John Watters Meeting House has been arrested.

Brian J. Martin, 18, of the first block of E. Lee St. here, was arrested Tuesday night on a warrant charging him with second-degree arson and second-degree burglary, said Allen L. Ward, a deputy chief state fire marshal.

He said Mr. Martin was being held yesterday at the Harford County Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bond.

Arrested Monday on arson and burglary charges in connection with the fire were Kevin Richard Allen, 18, of the 2100 block of Thomas Run Road, and two teen-age males, one from Bel Air and one from Forest Hill.

Mr. Ward said Mr. Allen also was being held at the detention center under a $100,000 bond and that the teen-age boys were being held at the Charles H. Hickey Jr. School in Cub Hill.
