Baltimore man is injured by 2 robbers

April 05, 1996

A Baltimore man was slightly injured Wednesday by two robbers, one of them armed with a knife, county police said.

Dwayne Gerald Collier, 33, of the 3900 block of Fourth St., was treated at Harbor Hospital Center for a cut on his right hand.

Mr. Collier told police he was walking along Doris Avenue near Fourth Street in Brooklyn Park shortly after 11 p.m. when two men approached him from behind and pushed him to the ground.

The men demanded money and jewelry and Mr. Collier complied. One of the men then pulled out a knife and began swinging it in Mr. Collier's face. Mr. Collier put up his hands to protect himself, and his hand was cut, police said.

Police did not have a detailed description of the thieves.
