Bandits tonight

April 03, 1996

Opponent: Adirondack Red Wings

Site: Baltimore Arena

Time: 7

Radio: WITH (1230 AM), WAMD (970 AM)

Outlook: After their most successful weekend of the season, consecutive victories over Binghamton, Albany and Rochester, the Bandits have a four-point lead over Carolina while playing two fewer games. After the Red Wings (34-30-8) visit tonight, Carolina comes to town Friday, then the Bandits and Monarchs do it again Saturday night in Greensboro, N.C. The race for third place in the Southern Division and an assured spot in the AHL playoffs could be over by then or Carolina could be right back in it. The Monarchs hold a 5-3-2 edge over the Bandits. In their only meeting this season, the Wings beat Baltimore, 6-2.
