Fuller scores 5 as Shoremen rout Dickinson

Freshman attackman John Fuller scored a career-best five goals to lift Washington College over host Dickinson, 21-8, yesterday in men's lacrosse.

The Shoremen (5-3), who are ranked No. 9 in Division III, have won five of their past six games. The Red Devils (1-3) were outshot, 47-19.

George Atterbury added two goals and three assists for Washington College.

Dartmouth 15, Stony Brook 11: Scott Hapgood scored six goals and added two assists as No. 19 Dartmouth (2-1) held off host Stony Brook (1-3).

Villa Julie 22, Johnson State 5: Peter Knee and Jon Lee had five and four goals, respectively, to power host Villa Julie (4-4) past Johnson State (0-3) of Vermont. The Mustangs outshot Johnson, 59-20.

Women

Richmond 16, UMBC 2: Laurie Hagy and Dotty Giordano each scored four goals as Richmond (4-4) routed host UMBC (1-6).

Lynchburg 10, Salisbury State 4: Caitlin Sarkisian scored three goals to help Lynchburg (2-3) over host Salisbury State (2-3). Shannon Cordell scored three goals for the Sea Gulls.
