Grayson Homes has opened a model of the Woodleigh at Twin Ridge in Mount Airy. A total of 280 traditional homes will be built on one-third to three-quarter-acre lots in Frederick County.

The Woodleigh is a 2,336-square-foot, two-story home with a beginning price of $227,990.

The first floor has a 13-by-15-foot living room, 11-by-14-foot dining room, 11-by-10-foot library, 10-by-11-foot kitchen, 11-by-11-foot breakfast area and 19-by-13-foot family room.

Upstairs, the master suite has a 13-by-18-foot bedroom, 8-by-9-foot walk-in closet and 9-by-11-foot bath with a soaking tub and separate shower. There are three additional bedrooms and a full hall bath.

The sales office is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Wednesday. Take Interstate 70 West to the Mount Airy (Route 27) exit. Go through the traffic light and cross over Route 27, to a left on Ridgeville Boulevard (Route 144), to a right on Park Ridge Drive, to the model on the left.

Thomas Builders has opened the Worthington model at Winterset in Baltimore County, where the company is constructing 80 two-story Colonial homes on one-eighth-acre lots.

The Worthington has 2,050 square feet of finished living space and a base price of $159,990.

In front is a single-car garage, powder room, living room and dining room, the latter two 14 by 10 feet. A 28-by-12-foot kitchen/breakfast area occupies the middle of the house, while a 15-by-12-foot family room is at the rear.

A master suite with an 18-by-12-foot bedroom, walk-in closet and full bath with soaking tub shares the second floor with three other bedrooms, a full hall bath and a linen closet.

The model is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday through Wednesday. Take Interstate 695 to Interstate 795 north to Owings Mills Boulevard west, to a left on Lakeside Boulevard, to a left on New Town Boulevard, to the sales center.
