A man armed with a large handgun robbed a Glen Burnie gas station yesterday, county police said.

A clerk at the Crown gas station in the 7200 block of Ritchie Highway told police that the man walked up about 1 a.m., pointed the gun and demanded cash.

The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money from the cash drawer, and the man ran south on Crain Highway, police said.

A detailed description of the gunman was not available, police said.
