Man arrested on drug, theft, trespassing charges

A Glen Burnie man who handed a county police officer 11 vials of crack cocaine outside Marley Station mall Monday, claiming a man on a bicycle had offered them in exchange for sex, later was arrested on drug, theft and trespassing charges, police said.

Donald Lee Morrison, 21, of the 7900 block of Perthshire Path was charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon, theft and trespassing. He was being held yesterday on $2,500 bail.

Outside the mall about noon, a man told Officer April R. Ballard that a man on a bicycle wanted him to perform sexual acts in exchange for drugs. The man handed Officer Ballard vials containing what later tested positive for crack cocaine, police said.

Officer Ballard broadcast a description of the bicyclist. Later, security officers told her that the man who handed her the vials had been arrested twice and banned from the mall. Officer Ballard arrested the man, police said.

Police said they searched the man and found a knife, two syringes, a $20 videotape and several magnets worth $26. The magnets and videotape still had price tags on them and the man did not have a receipt, police said.
