March 25, 1996

A man who asked for a room at about 3: 25 a.m. yesterday at the Comfort Inn in the 6900 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. pulled a small-caliber handgun on the clerk and demanded money after the clerk told him the cost of the room, county police said.

After the clerk handed over some money, the man got into an unidentified vehicle and headed east on Belle Grove Road, police said.

In Glen Burnie Saturday, a 49-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint at about 9: 30 p.m. as she was entering a building in the 7900 block of Nolpark Drive, police said.
