Harford County

Aberdeen Eagles

1995 record: 1-10.

Coach: Sandy Levin.

Top players: Erin Gibas, Jr., A; Kim Grant, Sr., A; Nicole Scott, Jr., A; Ama Aquah, Sr., D; Joanna Rizzuto, Sr., D.

Outlook: The most candidates in years (40) signal improvement for this team and this program.

Bel Air Bobcats

1995 record: 6-6.

Coach: Ken Zorbach

Top players: Katie Bentz, Sr., A; Margy Gentile, Sr., D; Danielle Gnau, Sr. A; Kelly Parks, Sr., A; Kristi Schultz, Sr., D; Kelly Velez, Sr., A.

Outlook: The attack should be strong, and if able to maintain possession and score enough, it should give the young defense a chance to get used to working together. With nine returning players, team will be looking to improve record.

C.M. Wright Mustangs

1995 record: 11-5.

Coach: Kathy Breymaier.

Top players: Becky Gerhart, Sr., A; Miranda James, Sr., A; Jen Kuehn, Sr., A; Annie Sappington, Sr., M/D; Emily Steinmetz, Sr., D.

Outlook: Game experience, good stickwork, and tremendous speed should count for an improved season. An extremely rugged pre-county schedule is geared for playoff preparation. The Mustangs lost in the state Class 3A-4A championship game last year.

Edgewood Rams

1995 record: 2-9.

Coach: Coach: (Light) Michelle McGinley.

Top players: Jeannine Quinn, Sr., D; Krissy Cullison, Sr., D; Nikki Hill, Jr., D; Lelie Marzicola, Jr., M.

Outlook: A strong core defense and a stable midfield are program building blocks, but without a JV team, players are inexperienced.

Fallston Cougars

1995 record: 13-1.

Coach: Nancy Ferguson.

Top players: Courtney Jenkins, Sr., A; Anne West, Sr., A; Courtney Benner, D; Beth Blasi, Sr., D; Rachel Simon, Sr., D.

Outlook: There is an experienced defense, but an unproven attack for last year's state 1A-2A semifinalist. With the exception of the above five, team is young and very inexperienced.

Havre de Grace Warriors

1995 record: No team.

Coach: Judy Forder.

Outlook: The school's first team in the sport since 1988 has 19 players, but only one has played in a game before.

Coach: John Hughes.

Top players: Top players: (Light) Meaghan Giorno, Sr., A; Kathy Raymond, Sr., A; Lindsay Tognocchi, Jr., M; Katie Tiburzi, Jr., D; Britney Whitehurst, Jr., M.

Outlook: A strong outside schedule (AIS A Division teams) is expected to help this team challenge for the B Division title. The school's best team in the past four years is aggressive and well-balanced.

Joppatowne Mariners

1995 record: 10-4.

Coach: Lany Wallace.

Top players: Nicole Du Val, Jr., A; Chris Margolis, Sr., A; Kim Rohrs, Jr., D; April Metzger, Jr., D.

Outlook: The veterans will be instrumental in the development of this team under a new coach.

Coach: Coach: (Light) Barbara Waite.

Top players: Melissa Citrano, Sr., A; Shanna Pitarra, Sr., A; Chrissy Scinto, Sr., D; Cari Baker, Jr., utility; Heather Nicholson, Sr., utility.
