Georgia (21-9) vs. Syracuse (26-8) Time: 8

TV: None

Line: Syracuse by 1 1/2

Outlook: Syracuse has lost to only one non-Big East opponent, No. 1 Massachusetts in the Rainbow Classic in December. Senior forward John Wallace stayed in school instead of going to the NBA and leads the Orangemen in scoring (22.1) and rebounding (8.6). Georgia coach Tubby Smith is no stranger to the Sweet 16 after leading Tulsa to this point the past two seasons. The Bulldogs are virtually unknown nationally, but their up-tempo style and team balance produced impressive tournament victories over Clemson and top-seeded Purdue.

Arizona (26-6) vs. Kansas (28-4)

Time: 10: 30 (approximate)

TV: None

Line: Kansas by 5 1/2

Outlook: Senior center Ben Davis, who transferred from Kansas after his freshman season, leads Arizona, averaging 14.3 points and 9.7 rebounds. Kansas has won its two tournament games by combined 53 points. Jayhawks coach Roy Williams has five starters scoring in double figures, and his offense is sparked by point guard Jacque Vaughn (10.5 ppg, 6.5 apg). The key matchup will be at the point, with Vaughn going against the Wildcats' Reggie Geary (10.1 ppg, 7.0 apg).
