Harford County

Aberdeen Eagles

1995 record: 7-6. Coach: Craig Tillman.

Top players: Andy Gasdia, Jr., A; Steve Simmons, Sr., A; Joe Gasdia, Jr., M; Eric Ward, Sr., D; Justin Moe, Jr., G.

Outlook: Although there is senior strength, this is basically a pretty young team. One goal is a winning record.

Bel Air Bobcats

1995 record: 9-5. Coach: William Zimmerman.

Top players: Tim Schindler, Sr., A; Mike Waclawski, Sr., A; Ryan Zimmerman, Sr., M; Randy Shuman, Sr., D; Adam Childs, Sr., D.

Outlook: Team lacks depth, but, showing good attitudes, players are working harder than past teams.

C. Milton Wright Mustangs

1995 record: 10-4. Coach: Carl Greenberg.

Top players: Jeff Sedlack, Sr., A; Jeff Smith, Sr., A; Josh Templeton, Sr., A; Dave Rueckert, Sr., M; Rob Francis, Sr., D.

Outlook: The potential is there to do well, if the team stays healthy.

Edgewood Rams

1995 record: Top players: tings, Sr., M; Eric Sinar, So., M; Ray Persuhn, Sr., D; Tim Byrnes, Sr., G.

Outlook: With a very young team (four of the first 16 are seniors) and competitive schedule, a .500 record would be a success.

Fallston Cougars

1995 record: 9-5. Coach: John Conley.

Top players: Jason Goodman, Sr., M; Steve Carey, Sr., D.

Outlook: The team is dominated by juniors and strong on the surface, but lacks depth.

Harford Tech Cobras

1995 record: 0-12. Coach: Tom Nelson.

Top players: Leroy Simms, Sr., M; Chris Mina, Sr., D; James Glassman, Jr., M; Scott Boyce, So., A; Gerry Bohdel, So., A.

Outlook: This second-year program, with 18 players, will still be too young.

Havre de Grace Warriors

1995 record: 2-10. Coach: Ted Walke.

Top players: Cory Christy, Sr., A; David Briggs, Sr., M; Danny Gilbert, Jr., D; Jody Hochstein, Sr., G.

Outlook: The largest turnout in three years (30), with better athletic ability, is a mix of veterans (11) and those who have never played in a game before.

@John Carroll Patriots

1995 record: 11-4. Coach: Boo Smith.

Top players: Jeff Miles, Sr., A; Tim Parks, Sr., A; Mark Abromaitis, Sr., M; Bryan Barrettt, Sr., M; Brad Knapp, Sr., M; Pat Kelly, Sr., G; Pat Boyle, Jr., G.

Outlook: Roles are reversed for defending MIAA B Conference champions, with a defense that needs improving, and an offense that is being counted on to win games this season. A year ago, it was the defense that kept the Patriots in games.

Joppatowne Mariners

1995 record: 5-7. Coach: Bill Waibel.

Top players: Chris Myers, Sr., A-M; Kris Dougherty, Jr., A; Chip Reiter, So., M; Chris McKenny, Jr., D; Dan Lewis, Jr., M; Scott Baumgartner, Jr., G.

Outlook: Six starters return but depth is lacking. The defense needs to be solidified.

North Harford Hawks

1995 record: 15-3. Coach: John Grubb.

Top players: Eric Barger, Sr., A; Tom Staab, Sr., M; John Koshowski, Sr., D; Russell Smith, Sr., GK.

Outlook: Six starters are gone from last season's state Class 1A-2A champions, but there is more depth than in past seasons. It will be competitive, but maybe a step behind the league leaders in talent.
