1995 record: 6-13. Coach: Stu Hinch.

Top players: Hercules Murray, Sr., OF; Jason Spinnett, Sr., P; Eddie Wade, Sr., P/1B; Kenny Wilson, Sr., SS/P.

Outlook: Four quality starting pitchers have hopes high for an improved season, one in which the team can be competitive in county race.

Bel Air Bobcats

1995 record: 13-7. Coach: Mike Ennis.

Top players: Bill Greenwell, Sr., OF/IF/P; Geoff Rose, Sr., 1B/C; Jon Smith, Sr., P/OF; Chad Sommers, Sr., C.

Outlook: with three three-year starters, but pitching is a question mark, as there is little varsity experience.

C. Milton Wright Mustangs

1995 record: Top players: Todd Heil, Sr., IF; Tim Hilyard, Sr., P/SS; Shane MacKenzie, Sr., P; Mac Middaugh, Sr., C; Brian Okerberg, Sr., P/OF; Peter Troilo, Sr., OF.

Outlook: With all starters but two back, team looks good on paper. Others say it will be one of top teams in the county race.

Top players: Eric Corbridge, Sr., SS/P; Mike Nelson, Sr., IF/P; Frank DiRaimo, Jr., 1B/P; Wayne Porter, Jr., C; Kirk Forbes, Jr., 2B.

Outlook: The infield and pitching are solid for co-defenders, but outfield spots are open. Continuing recent tradition, it is a team of hitters.

Fallston Cougars

1995 record: 7-13. Coach: Rob Limpert.

Top players: Bart Dellinger, Sr., 2B; Dan Green, Sr., P; Brian Price, Sr. IB; Greg Smith, Sr., SS; Brad Weiber, Sr., P.

Top players: Eric Carr, Sr., OF; David Grant, Sr., C; C.J. Johnson, Sr., SS; Eric McNulty, Sr., 2B; Pete Surette, Sr., P.

Outlook: For first time, there is an experienced lineup to go with four-year pitching leader Surette.

Havre de Grace Warriors

1995 record: 7-11. Coach: Joe Oswald.

Top players: Mike Hawkins, Sr., P-OF; Billy Jackson, Sr., SS; Keny Pasley, Jr., P; Damon Presbury, Jr., OF; Chad Blevins, So., 2B; Matt Blethen, So., P-OF.

Outlook: Five pitchers, including the top three from a year ago, and strength up the middle should provide good defense. Team speed satisfactory.

John Carroll Patriots

1995 record: 19-5. Coach: Al Ward.

Top players: Shaun Kelly, Sr., 3B; Tim DeCapite, Sr., P-IF; Matt Delaney, Sr., IF; Mike Pennington, Sr., OF; Larry Hughes, Jr., OF.

Outlook: Six returning starters, including top two in hits and top two in RBIs, boost talk of better hitting, plus more depth. Defending co-county champs are hoping for good pitching behind DeCapite (9-2, 0.97).

Joppatowne Mariners

1995 record: 9-7. Coach: Al Zelinski.

Top players: Sam Button, Sr., P; Bill Callahan, Sr., OF/P; Brian Roe, Sr., P/1B; Ben Upton, Sr., C/P; Chris Kohl, Jr.

Outlook: Button (.462, 7-2) is one of seven veterans, but the team is young. Chief need is another pitcher or more if possible.

North Harford Hawks

1995 record: 4-14. Coach: Tim Larrimore.

Top players: Joe Blackwell, Sr., OF; Phil Gilotte, Sr., OF; Brock Jourdan, Sr., P; John Lackovic, Sr., 1B; Chris Roberts, Sr., SS.

Outlook: This will be a well-armed team, with three pitchers among five returning starters, plus two newcomers who are expected to help.
