Women's Aglow to sponsor meeting

The Westminster Women's Aglow, an interdenominational Christian women's ministry, will have a luncheon meeting starting at 9: 45 a.m. Thursday at Wilhelm Ltd. Caterers on Route 140. Lunch will be at 12: 15 p.m.

Roxanna Hehring, an active member of her church and Women's Aglow, will be speaker.

Cost is $6 for lunch and the meeting, $1.50 for the meeting only.

Baby-sitting is available, but separate reservations are required. Call 848-1501.

Police

Westminster: A resident of Stacy Lee Drive reported to city police that her vehicle was entered and items were stolen between 11 a.m. and 4: 30 p.m. Thursday while it was parked on Johann Drive. Loss is estimated at $470.

Westminster: A resident of Manchester Avenue told city police that her convertible automobile top was damaged and property was removed from her car while it was parked in front of her house between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 11: 30 a.m. Wednesday. Loss was estimated at $700.

Westminster: A resident of Wampler Lane reported to city police that a passenger-side window of her car was broken and her vehicle was entered while it was parked at East End Athletic Club on South Center Street between 8: 30 p.m. and 9: 48 p.m. Tuesday. The damage was estimated at $300. A resident of Miller Lane also told police that someone broke a window on the passenger side of her car and took items between 9 p.m. and 9: 30 p.m. Tuesday at the same location. Loss was estimated at $300.

Westminster: A resident of Littlestown Pike reported to city police that a driver's side window of his car was broken and items were taken while it was parked at East Middle School on Longwell Avenue between 6: 30 p.m. and 9: 10 p.m. Tuesday. Loss was estimated at $580.

Fire

Pleasant Valley: Units from Pleasant Valley responded to a brush fire in the 1400 block of Pinch Valley Road at 6: 54 p.m. Thursday. Units were out 67 minutes.

Westminster: Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester units responded to an apartment fire on East Main Street at 6: 16 p.m. Friday. Units were out 10 minutes.

Westminster: Westminster units responded to an investigation at Stone Chapel and Stuller roads at 1: 31 a.m. Saturday. Units were out 29 minutes.

Westminster: Westminster and Reese units responded at 6: 13 a.m. Thursday to an odor of gas on East Green Street. Units were out 15 minutes.
