Capitals tonight

March 15, 1996

Opponent: Boston Bruins

Site: USAir Arena, Landover

Time: 8

TV/Radio: HTS/WTEM (570 AM)

Outlook: The Capitals (32-27-8), no doubt, will have the hotter-than-hot Jim Carey in net tonight. Carey (2.38 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage) has three shutouts in his last four games and has allowed one goal in his last 293 minutes, 28 seconds. Bruin D Al Iafrate (knee) is skating with the team, but remains out, as does RW Cam Neely (hip), LW Davis Payne (separated shoulder) and D Dean Channel (hamstring). The Capitals will be without LW Keith Jones (groin) and defensemen Brendan Witt (broken wrist) and Ken Klee (groin).
