Police arrest Baltimore man in theft of electric drill

Police arrested a Baltimore man Wednesday and charged him with stealing a $40 electric drill from a Sears store in Annapolis, county police said.

Donald Lee Carl, 44, of the 300 block of Payton St. was charged with theft.

Stephen Baer, a security guard for the store in Parole Plaza, told police he saw a man pick up an electric drill about 3 p.m., hide it under his jacket and walk out, police said. Mr. Baer held the man for police.
