County police arrested a Pasadena man Tuesday on charges of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Pasadena girl in September.

Raymond Daren Lindsey, 29, of the 8300 block of Catherine Ave. was charged with first- and third-degree sex offenses, use of a handgun in the commission of a felony, and battery, authorities said. He was being held without bond.

The girl told police a man driving a red car ordered her into the car, then drove her to Jacobsville Park where he raped her at gunpoint.

The girl saw the red car in the area several times after that, got the tag number and gave it to police, who said they traced it. XTC They raided a house and took blood samples from the occupant for DNA testing. The DNA matched that in semen found on the victim, police said, and an arrest was made Tuesday.
