March 13, 1996

Meghan C. Smith, a student at Westminster High School, has been chosen a winner in the SERVISTAR and Coast to Coast All-American Vocational Student Awards program.

Each of the 3,000 winners from all over the country wins a $100 savings bond from SERVISTAR Corp. and Coast to Coast Stores Inc.

Local winners advance to the state level, and the state winner advances to the national competition.

The program was begun in 1992 to recognize students who achieve certain standards of excellence in vocational and academic skills and who exhibit leadership in their communities.
