Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Northern District

Theft: Someone broke into a car parked in the first block of Art Museum Drive between 4 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. yesterday and stole 12 compact discs valued at $120.

Theft: Two men were seen breaking into a car parked in the 2500 block of Maryland Ave. about 10: 10 a.m. yesterday by smashing the driver's side window. They took a radar detector valued at $150.

Theft: A pit bull puppy valued at $400 was stolen between 6 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. yesterday from a storage shed in the 800 block of Glenwood Ave.

Northeastern District

Robbery: An armed man robbed the Cha Dry Cleaners and Laundromat in the 5800 block of Hillen Road of $200 about 7: 20 p.m. Monday.

Robbery: A 39-year-old man was robbed of $55 by two men, one of whom was armed, in the 5200 block of Bowleys Lane shortly before 10 p.m. Monday.

Robbery: An 18-year-old man was robbed of $5 by two men, one of them armed with a handgun, about 6: 45 p.m. Monday in the 4000 block of Loch Raven Blvd. Woodlawn Precinct

Theft: A burglary that occurred in a residence in the 5900 block of Prince George St. between Feb. 22 and March 5 was reported yesterday. Intruders took property valued at $4,100, including a television set, microwave oven, bedroom set, power saw, two chain saws, air conditioner, two drills and a stereo system.

Robbery: A 27-year-old man who had just cashed a check at a Mars supermarket was robbed at gunpoint of $250 about 8: 40 a.m. yesterday at Rolling and Tudsbury roads.

Garrison Precinct

Theft: A Toshiba lap top computer, valued at $3,000, was reported stolen yesterday from Spectrum Healthcare Services in the 10000 block of Red Run Blvd. The theft occurred between late Thursday night and early Friday morning.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A ring valued at $1,000 and $75 worth of coins were taken from a home in the first block of Valley Green Court between 7: 20 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday. The burglar entered through a rear sliding door by breaking the glass.

Burglary: A woman's jacket valued at $70 and $40 in cash were taken from a home in the 100 block of Springview Court between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday. The house was broken into through the rear door.

Theft: A gold swirl ring with two diamonds, valued at $2,000, was stolen from a hotel room in the 9600 block of Deereco Road between 8: 45 a.m. and noon Sunday.

Parkville Precinct

Stolen car: A 1991 Plymouth Acclaim, Maryland tags 281 ALE, was stolen between 5: 30 p.m. Monday and 6: 20 a.m. yesterday in the 2200 block of Lowells Glen Road.
