Mason-Dixon Bancshares declares $.125 dividend

The board of directors of Mason-Dixon Bancshares Inc., parent company of Carroll County Bank and Trust Co., has declared a dividend of $.125 per share.

The dividend is payable March 15 to stockholders of record as of March 8.

The company's 1995 annual report will be available March 21. The annual stockholder's meeting will be held at 10 a.m. April 20 at Wakefield Valley Golf and Conference Center.

Herb Weller of Taneytown has been promoted to quality control supervisor at Lehigh Portland Cement Co. His responsibilities include quality control for all raw materials and the manufacture of all cement products. A 1961 Francis Scott Key graduate, he started at Lehigh in 1964.

Barbara McCune has been promoted to assistant manager at Opti-Care in Freedom Village Center, Eldersburg. She has been a practicing optician for the last nine years and lives in Eldersburg. Dr. Michael Davis, an optician at Opti-Care, recently passed the competency examination for the treatment and management of ocular disease.
