Plenty to choose from as local churches and clubs schedule enough events to fill a calendar

A SMALL DOSE of premature spring fever has packed the calendar with a variety of events in the Pasadena area.

Jenkins Memorial Church in Riviera Beach is sponsoring an all-you-can-eat roast beef and smoked ham dinner from noon to 6 p.m. tomorrow.

The menu also includes vegetables, dessert and refreshments.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $3.50 for children ages 5 to 12. Youngsters under 5 can eat free. Carryouts will be available starting at 11 a.m. Deliveries will be made to homes in the immediate area. To place a carryout order or for more details, call 437-2846.

Rotary Club sponsors dinner

The Rotary Club of Lake Shore is sponsoring a roast beef dinner from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church fellowship hall, 4760 Mountain Road.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.

Proceds will benefit the Rotary Club scholarship fund.

Family bingo night set

St. Jane Frances Home School Association is having its family bingo night tomorrow in the school hall.

The doors will open at 6: 30 p.m.; games start at 7 p.m.

Admission is $5 for families of three or fewer, $7 for families of four or more.

Proceeds will benefit the school.

Fashion show planned

The Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary invites you to a fashion show and dance from 7 p.m. tomorrow to 1 a.m. at the Mountain Road fire hall. The show will feature men's, women's (regular and plus size) and children's clothing from Carol's Western Wear and Fashion Bug.

A chuck-wagon menu of barbecue, hot dogs, baked beans, soda, beer and setups is included in the $10 admission charge.

Easter eggs offered

The Ladies Guild of Magothy Chelsea Community Lutheran Church is accepting orders for homemade Easter eggs.

Varieties include butter cream, chocolate butter cream, coconut and peanut butter. Prices are $1.50 for 1/4 -pound eggs, $2.75 for 1/2 -pound eggs, and $5 for 1-pound eggs.

The eggs will be ready for pickup from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. March 30. The last day to place your order is March 24.

Lenten programs offered

Solley United Methodist Church on Solley Road is having a series of Sunday evening Lenten programs.

Sunday's program will begin with a covered-dish dinner at 5: 30 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. performance by the Linthicum United Methodist Church choir.

The program on March 17 at 7 p.m. will feature Glen Burnie High School Gospel Choir.

On March 24, the evening will begin with a 5: 30 p.m. covered-dish supper and a performance by Brooklyn United Methodist Church choir at 7 p.m.

The final program in the series is at 7 p.m. March 31. Members of Solley United Methodist Church choir will perform the cantata "Were You There." For more details, call 255-2750.

Theatre Group dance

Chesapeake High School Theatre Group is sponsoring a benefit dance April 26.
