Two Columbia teens were charged with drug violations Tuesday after narcotics detectives responding to neighbors' complaints searched an Oakland Mills Village home, Howard County police said.

The two 17-year-olds, a male and a female, were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of tobacco by a minor. The male was also charged with possession of alcohol, police said.

Each was released into the custody of a parent, police said.

About 12: 30 p.m., officers from the Street Drug Section entered a home in the 9500 block of Kilimanjaro Road in Oakland Mills, the target of several complaints about juvenile disturbances and suspected drug activity, police said.

Officers arrested the two teen-agers after finding small amounts of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, tobacco products and alcohol inside, police said.
