Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Southern District

Burglary/arrests: Two men were arrested yesterday after they allegedly broke into a house being renovated in the 1700 block of W. Pratt St. and stole tools and nails. Charged with burglary were Nelson Armstrong, 27, of the 2400 block of S. Paca St. and Rodney Burris, 38, of the 3700 block of Spaulding Ave.

Stolen car: A four-door silver-colored 1987 Mazda with tags AVA 850 was stolen yesterday in the first block of S. Stricker St.

Burglary/stolen car: While the occupants of a house in the 400 block of Maude Ave. were asleep yesterday morning, an intruder ate food from the refrigerator, then stole a set of keys from a back door dead bolt lock and drove off with the victim's white four-door 1989 Toyota with tags WVD 637.

Robbery: A man was walking in the 1400 block of Covington St. on Tuesday when he was knocked to the pavement by another man who robbed him of $10.

Northern District

Robbery: A resident of the 3900 block of Wilsby Ave. was walking near her home yesterday when a man robbed her of more than $100.

Burglary: A television and videocassette recorder, all valued at nearly $700, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 900 block of Homestead St.

Burglary: A car radio, stereo equalizer and a compact disc player, all valued at nearly $400, were stolen Tuesday from a garage in the 2800 block of Cresmont Ave.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A man assaulted a resident of the 3300 block of Clarks Lane on Tuesday as she walked near her home and robbed her of a purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $20.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man of $11 Tuesday in the 2400 block of Liberty Heights Ave.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A teal-colored 1993 Chevrolet with tags CVJ 348 was stolen yesterday in the 700 block of N. Rosedale St.

Stabbing: A 29-year-old man, who was arguing with another man in the 1100 block of Poplar Grove St. on Tuesday, was stabbed in the left shoulder with a knife. The victim declined treatment, and a suspect was being sought.

Northeastern District

Shooting: A man was in serious condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital after a gunman shot him three times in the legs and buttocks Tuesday night in the 2900 block of Harford Road.

Theft: Someone broke open a city parking meter in the 6200 block of E. Lombard St. Tuesday and removed coins.

Theft from truck: Tools and equipment, all valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen Tuesday from a truck owned by United Cable TV that was parked in the 4600 block of W. Freedom Way.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: More than $3,000 worth of hand and power tools were stolen Tuesday from a storage room at Omni Transport Inc. in the 8200 block of Bletzer Road.

Stolen car: A silver-colored 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with tags VTY 327 was stolen Tuesday in the 1700 block of Searles Road.
