Man with gun steals cash at liquor store

A man with a revolver robbed Severn Liquors of an undisclosed amount of money Saturday, county police said.

The man entered the store in the 8200 block of W. Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. shortly before 9 p.m., pointed a gun and told an employee to put the money into a pillow case, police said.

The bandit left, taking the cash and a bottle of whiskey, police said.

Robber forces employees to open restaurant safe

A man robbed a Hanover restaurant of an undisclosed amount of money Sunday, county police said yesterday.

The man stopped two employees outside the Burger King about 12: 30 a.m. and ordered them to go back inside and to open the safe.

He ordered the employees to lie on the floor, then ran away with the cash.
