CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Mark Phillips had four goals and two assists to lead North Carolina past Navy, 24-7, yesterday before 500 at Fetzer Field.
The Tar Heels (1-0) scored six of the game's first seven goals.
Navy (2-1) did not score back-to-back goals until the opening minute of the fourth quarter. The Midshipmen were outshot, 63-36.
