Cockeysville woman raped in Linthicum motel room

A 25-year-old Cockeysville woman was raped Tuesday at a Linthicum motel where she was staying, county police said yesterday.

The woman told police she was returning to her room at Motel 6 in the 5100 block of Raynor Ave. about 8 p.m. when a man followed her into the room, forced her to the bed, slapped and raped her, police said.

She described her assailant as a white man in his mid-30s, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He had brown shoulder-length hair, a scar under his left eye, and a tattoo on his right forearm. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans, a blue jean jacket, and tennis shoes.

Brooklyn Park: Someone broke into a home in the 5000 block of Brookwoood Road Tuesday and stole a color television and cash, county police said.
