Health inspectors cite 15 establishments

County health inspectors visited 175 restaurants and food-handling establishments between Feb 1 and Feb. 15 to evaluate them on nine standards.

Two businesses were closed temporarily because problems *T could not be fixed:

* Joe's Oak Grove, 1100 block of Thompson Ave., Severn. Closed Feb 12, possible water contamination. Reopened Feb. 14 for full service.

* Bill and Billie's Q Club, 1200 block of Ritchie Highway, Arnold. Closed Feb. 15 because of sewage overflow. Reopened later that day.

Fifteen businesses were cited for failing to meet standards for health or physical conditions.

* Baymart, first block of Old Mill Bottom Road, Annapolis. Food not held at proper temperature. Reinspection required.

* Meade Superette, 1600 block of Annapolis Road, Odenton. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Deep South Snowshakes, Annapolis Mall, Annapolis. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Machoian Poultry, City Market House, Annapolis. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Denny's Restaurant, 2000 block of West St. Extended, zTC Annapolis. Food not properly cooled.

* Rick's American Grill, 1300 block of Defense Highway, Gambrills. Food not properly cooled.

* Roy Rogers, Annapolis Mall. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Bill and Billie's Q Club, 1200 block of Ritchie Highway, Arnold. Food not properly cooled and not from an approved source.

* Foods-R-In, 7900 block of Crain Highway, Glen Burnie. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Smokin' Jo's, 2000 block of West St., Annapolis. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Box N Save of Glen Burnie, 7900 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. Food not held at proper temperature. Reinspection required.

* Olive Grove Restaurant, 700 block of Hammonds Ferry Road, Linthicum. Food not properly cooled.

* Kentucky Fried Chicken, 700 block of Nursery Road, Linthicum. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Southwest Concession Co., 4900 block of Fairview Ave., Linthicum. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Rocky Run Restaurant, Marley Station, Glen Burnie. Food not held at proper temperature.
