Massenburg unhappy with deal to 76ers

February 24, 1996|By PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS

Maryland alumnus Tony Massenburg is unhappy with the trade Thursday that sent him and former Villanova star Eddie Pinckney from the Toronto Raptors to the Philadelphia 76ers.

"I'm totally frustrated," said Massenburg, who will have to battle for playing time at power forward with Derrick Coleman and Clarence Weatherspoon.

"It's very frustrating to keep moving around, but that's the way it is. It's part of the business."

The 76ers are Massenburg's seventh NBA team since leaving Maryland in 1990.
