Church youth start program to feed homeless

February 23, 1996

The United Methodist Youth Fellowship of Brooklyn Heights United Methodist Church, 110 Townsend Ave., has started a program to feed the homeless.

The youths will make 200 sandwiches and distribute them in Baltimore on the fourth Sunday of each month.

The ministry needs donations of cash, bread, cheese, fresh fruit, deodorant and disposable razors.

If you would like to help, call the church at 789-3688.
